J.L. Viele Construction
is a general contractor headquartered in Vail, Colorado. The
company was founded in 1978 and has a wealth of experience
throughout the Colorado Mountain Community. We have been involved
in the development and construction of much of the Vail Valley
and have experience throughout the area in both commercial
and residential construction. Some of our most notable projects
include: The Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater Vilar Pavilion, The
Beaver Creek Chapel, Hotel Gasthof Gramshammer, The Aspen
Airport, Mid Vail Restaurant, Bishop Park Condominiums, The
Covered Bridge Building, The Country Club of the Rockies Clubhouse,
The Donovan Park and Pavilion as well as a large number of
custom homes throughout the community, including two for Jack
Nicklaus.
With short building
seasons being typical of our mountain environment, we have
become extremely proficient in managing "fast-track"
projects, which we believe to be one of our strongest assets.
Our management staff is very familiar with the specific and
often peculiar demands of mountain construction. Many of our
employees have been with J.L. Viele Construction in excess
of fifteen years and we feel that we have the most competent
and knowledgeable field staff in the region.

We believe relationships
are the key to success in construction services. Our mission
has always been to develop and maintain successful relationships
with each team member involved in the construction of a project.
We have cultivated strong and enduring relationships with
local consultants, building officials, subcontractors and
architects. Our staff is deeply rooted in the community, with
families involved in the school systems, municipalities, local
governments and recreational programs. We pride ourselves
in being recognized as an honest, ethical, quality oriented
General Contractor, that delivers on time and as expected.
